Construction workers rescue abandoned newborn puppies

In a heartbreaking yet ultimately uplifting story, a construction worker in Appomattox, Virginia made a shocking discovery while on the job. After hearing strange cries coming from a nearby dumpster, the worker investigated and found four newborn puppies cruelly abandoned inside.

The construction worker immediately contacted animal control, who rushed to the scene and rescued the helpless pups. Taken to the Appomattox Animal Shelter, the young dogs were found to be only 24 hours old, with their eyes and ears still closed and umbilical cords attached. Miraculously, despite the severe neglect, the puppies were in relatively good condition.

The caring staff at the shelter quickly got to work, warming the puppies up and bottle-feeding them. They decided to name the four pups after characters from the popular TV series “Breaking Bad” – Walter White, Gus Fring, Saul Goodman, and Jane Margolis.

After receiving initial treatment and care, the puppies were transferred to the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA, where they will be placed in a loving foster home until they can be adopted. The shelter expressed confidence that these resilient little fighters have a bright future ahead of them with their new foster families.
